About

 To Abide
To wait for:AWAIT, To endure w/o yielding:WITHSTAND, to bear patiently:TOLERATE,
To accept w/o rejection, To remain stable, To continue in a place:SOJOURN

Come & Abide came out of a desire to dialog our life.
To await, withstand, tolerate, and sojourn along with other women.

who am i?

i'm just a midwestern girl taking life as it comes.
happily married and waiting to see what the Lord has in store for us.

slowly i'm coming into the woman i want to be.
the one who is so comfortable in her own skin.
finally i love myself, in a way that makes me a better person.
day by day, i work from home.  caring. tending. loving. extending. overflowing.
and i love every minute of it.  but not as much as i love jesus.

i'm head over heels for the man whose captured my heart.  that's my hubby.
he's my jelly to my peanut butter.  contractor, designer, handyman extraordinaire.
and the best part is he loves jesus too.  and he's serious eye candy.

that's us.  living our decidedly simple but wonderful life.

together.
'til death do us part.

come let’s walk this road together.
crossing over the hurdles when they come,
rejoicing together, growing as women.

there’s a kinship here, between women.
will you walk this road with me…

  1. Andrea, my biggest concern in honestly sharing this post was for my readers who've struggled to conceive. I just want to thank you for your heartfelt comment. I just wanted to say Amen after reading!
